Our Cancellation Policy is based on the facts that trips fill up, customers are turned away from certain trips or times they prefer if the trip is full, guides are scheduled and logistics are planned in advanced based on the number of guests on the trip. Revisions can be found in italics. Our normal Cancellation Policy is below for full transparency.
Revised Animas River Cancellation Policy*
All trips go out rain or shine. Trips can be rescheduled the day before at no cost. Inflatable Kayak upgrade requests must be received by 5pm the day before the trip. Customers will receive a 100% refund with notice of cancellation no later than 10am the day before the trip. No refund will be given for any cancellation made after 10am the day before the trip. For cancellations received after 10am the day before the trip, an electronic Gift Card for use at Mountain Waters Rafting or Mesa Verde Tours can be issued for 100% of the amount paid. Customers will receive a full refund in the case Mountain Waters Rafting has to cancel the trip due to safety or other unforeseen circumstances. No refund is given for no-shows. No refund will be given for any cancellation made within 48 hours from trip time.
