Raft Guides – Trainee
One of the most fun Summer jobs in Durango. Rafting will change your life! Numerous full-time and part-time positions are available this Summer. We hire all “rookie” guides directly from our Commercial Guide Training Course aka Guide School and offer most guide school participants a job at MWR. However, new guides should not expect a lot of work in May or early June and sometimes even later because of water levels and safety concerns. Having another part-time job in the evenings is highly recommended for 1st year guides.
Commercial Guide Training Course: In short, it is a 7 day intensive outdoor course designed to meet the minimum qualifications for commercial river guides in the State of Colorado.Read More – Sign Up!
