Mountain Waters provides river trips for all levels of experience and thrill: Class I, II, III, IV, and V trips are available.
We have an excellent 30+ year safety record on the Animas & Piedra Rivers, which no other outfitter can match. All guides meet the requirements of the State of Colorado with CPR and first aid certifications and are required to pass a written and practical exam. Many of our guides go above and beyond by receiving additional training in Swift Water Rescue and as EMT’s or as Wilderness First Responders.
All of our guides are trained in customer service and the history and culture of the area. Rafting the Animas River is the best, and Mountain Waters Rafting is the best of the best!
