Mountain Waters Rafting, Durango's number one rafting operation, is celebrating over 25 years of fun raft trips!
Trips run from mid-May through the last day of August.
A Durango, Colorado rafting adventure is a great way to experience the Southwest. The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, Mesa Verde National Park and the San Juan National Forest are highlights of the Four Corners you won’t want to miss! Mountain Waters provides river trips for all levels of experience and thrill: Class I, II, III, IV, and V trips are available.
We have an excellent 25-year safety record on the Animas River, which no other outfitter can match. Our guides are trained as swift water Technicians. We are the “guides' guides”. In addition, our guides are trained as Wilderness First Responders and have CPR. All guides meet the requirements of the State of Colorado and are required to pass a written and practical exam.
All of our guides are trained in customer service and the history and culture of the area. Rafting the Animas River is the best, and Mountain Waters Rafting is the best of the best!
Mountain Waters Rafting is a member of AAA, the Better Business Bureau, the Durango Chamber of Commerce, and the Colorado River Outfitters Association.
