Mountain Waters provides adventures and river trips for all levels of experience and thrill. Class I, II, III, IV, and V trips are available.
Our Lower Animas River Trips, through Durango, Colorado, are our most popular. They are perfect for all members of the family. Raft trips run daily from Memorial Day through the end of August. Meet us in downtown Durango for the highlight of your summer vacation.

Ready for high adventure? Try our Upper Animas Trip. This is not for the faint of heart. You must pass a physical fitness test to take this trip, but it is worth it. Be sure to check out the “pre-flight” test before you sign up. This is a trip you will remember for the rest of your life!
Our Piedra River Trip is a one-day Class IV trip! This spectacular waterway is currently under consideration for inclusion in the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System and after this trip, you will know why. An abundance of wildlife in the area makes this trip extra exciting.
